I had a realization the other night. As I was talking with a great friend of mine, we were discussing emotion, and what allows us to capture it the right way. How can I stop time and still illustrate so much?

As my friend helped me realize, it takes a pretty decent amount of trust to let your guard down in front of someone you don't know. It takes even more trust to allow them see you vulnerable. It takes EVEN MORE TRUST to allow that person to photograph it. Gosh, these clients of mine are entrusting me with a lot!

I was immediately humbled that strangers would allow me into such a personal place so quickly. I knew my job was personal (duh!), but now I feel it takes on a whole new meaning of "personal".
